As one of America’s most accomplished and respected wedding entertainers, Brian has personally performed over 1,500 weddings since 1987, establishing himself as a master of ceremony, sound, and celebration for couples across Indiana and throughout the Midwest.
After completing his service as a Personnel Administration Specialist in the U.S. Army, Brian launched his professional DJ career by founding DJ Underground, a groundbreaking entertainment brand known for innovation, energy, and professional polish. After two decades and hundreds of high school proms and school dances, college and university formals, corporate and community events, and personal celebrations such as weddings, reunions, birthdays, and graduations, the business evolved into Hoosier DJ Services, then recognized as one of the Midwest’s premier luxury wedding‑only entertainment companies.
During this era, Hoosier DJ Services operated as a multi‑system entertainment company employing numerous DJs, expanding its offerings to include Karaoke, large‑screen projection, music videos, photo booth services, accent lighting, special effects, trussing, high‑end lighting, 25‑foot outdoor movie screens, Indiana’s exclusive Boogie Heads Entertainment, kids’ bubble parties, glow parties, cold spark effects and concert/event sound. Beyond his unmatched experience as a wedding entertainer, Brian is a published author and accredited historian currently pursuing his M.A. in History at Indiana University. From his B.A. studies, he holds formal certifications in Rock & Roll History, Jazz History, Blues History, and Country Music History, giving him a rare depth of musical and cultural expertise that elevates every event he accepts. His philosophy is rooted in the belief that music is culture rather than noise, and that elite weddings are engineered, not improvised.
As a distinguished member of the Country Music Association, Brian serves as curator of The Country Historian (countryhistorian.com) and CEO of The Country Music Institute (countrymusicinstitute.org), a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and promoting America’s Country Music heritage.
